Our meal was perfect. The crab cake was superior. The cheesecake was a bit lackluster and didn't match the menu description. The complimentary ice cream on the pecan praline tuille was outstanding and made up for the cheesecake disappointment.

My wife and I came to celebrate our mini honeymoon/anniversary- the staff was so friendly and congratulatory- even gave us complimentary dessert! The food was amazing- my only regret is getting the blue cheese on the steak, their steak was so good on its own and didn’t need it.

Had our 10th anniversary dinner here. The wine list is extensive!!!!! It took us awhile to figure out what we wanted, but we weren’t disappointed with our selection (a Pomerol). It went beautifully with our shared 38oz porterhouse with tons of delightfully roasted vegetables, potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach. The housemade sauces elevated the meat, too. Wonderful way to spend the first half of our evening!

We made reservations for 6:30, arrived at the restaurant at 6:26 and was immediately seated. The server was fabulous. He was very welcoming, explained dishes and made the best sweet tea. The food was very tasty and it was a lot of it. We definitely got our moneys worth. The atmosphere was relaxing and very inviting. I would recommend this place for a lovely date night or when you want to treat yourself and/or others to a nice meal.

Just wow. Great location, amazing food and second to none on the service. Chief must be a wizard as the food will leave you spell bound. It's magic. Our waitress could not do enough and was very entertaining and helpful, so head over as you will not be disappointed. It would be a mistake not to include it on your trip.

I had an amazing dining experience at Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse in the heart of the French Quarter, New Orleans. I got lucky snagging a reservation on OpenTable, and while there was a slight wait when we arrived, the check-in staff were wonderful. They quickly set up a table for us at the bar, which turned out to be perfect. The bar was stunning, the room was refreshingly cool on such a muggy day, and the seating was just right. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, but our server, Jessica, was truly exceptional. She made fantastic menu recommendations and was attentive throughout the meal. I went with the 16oz ribeye, paired with scallops and mashed potatoes—absolutely delicious! For starters, the crab cakes are a must-try, and the mud pie was the perfect ending to a great meal. Their sommelier offered incredible wine suggestions from an extensive wine list. While I was hoping for more than just two Bordeaux options, the rest of the selection was impressive and didn’t disappoint. For two people, including multiple glasses of wine and a few cocktails, our total came in just under 300—a fantastic value for such an unforgettable experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Managed to get a last minute reservation for this steakhouse through OpenTable, and I was amazed at how good the food was. We had the petite filet (6oz) which I prefer medium well. The steak had the perfect amount of pink in the middle, and wasn’t overcooked or dry. The sear on the outside of the steak was great and added extra flavor. I did think it was a little funny that the steak was garnished with a single cherry tomato. The au gratin potatoes were incredibly good, and can definitely be shared amongst 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are. Special shout out to our server Lugene who was very kind and welcoming, and suggested the sweet potato doberge cake for dessert since we were indecisive on what to have. It was a great way to end our meal! I’d hope anyone that visits this establishment has the pleasure of having him as your server

We were in search of a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement and after a terrible experience at Chemir a la Mer the night prior, we decided to give Dickie Brennan's a shot. I am so thankfull we were able to secure a reservation...they filled up very quickly. We were greeted with congratulations and even had a ballon at our table. Deja was so, so friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked just as we requested and so delicious! The sides were just as great. We look forward to dining here again, and we will highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans.
